The Sunshine Shack is a bright and welcoming 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage in the heart of Port Aransas. While it's tucked away in a quiet enclave, it is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and other attractions and is only a few blocks from the beach.

The space

Inside, you'll find a colorful and spacious living/dining area off of a large kitchen that has what you need to cook the catch of the day. There is a covered deck out front to relax and enjoy the Gulf breezes. The two bedrooms share a full bath with a tub/shower combination. Each bedroom has a king bed and plenty of closet space.

Outside, you'll find a small patio for enjoying the gulf breezes and a fenced SHARED yard that is shared by the complex for your four-legged friends to use. We've just added a shared breezeway for the complex with covered seating and a game area. It's a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. PLEASE NOTE: There is 24 hour surveillance in this shared area.

This property is DOG friendly. We welcome well trained dogs (no puppies) that are not labeled as "aggressive breeds" with a limit of 2 dogs with a total weight under 100 lbs. We charge a $50 per dog pet fee (covers entire stay) and ask that you pick up after them when they do their duties outside and kennel or crate them if they are left home alone. If you are bringing a dog, please message us the breed, age and weight of your dog so we can pre-approve them.

Cable television and wireless internet is included with your stay. There is a washer/dryer in the unit, so, please bring your preferred laundry detergent.

Two parking spaces are located in front of the cottage. Golf carts do count as one vehicle. Any additional cars, or trailers will need to be parked offsite. If you need off-site parking, we have information of places in town that offer it.

The Sunshine Shack is part of a five-unit property known as Pirates Cove, so additional units can be rented to accommodate larger groups. Please contact us for details or with assistance in booking multiple units.
