The Sandbar Bungalow is a colorful and welcoming 2-bedroom, 1-bath detached bungalow in the heart of Port Aransas. While it's tucked away in a quiet enclave, it is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and other attractions and is only a few blocks from the beach.

We welcome up to two dogs with a combined weight of less than 100 pounds. There is a $50 per dog fee to help with cleaning. We ask that you kennel your dog when left alone and pick up after them when they do their duty.

The space

Inside, you'll find a bright and spacious living/dining area off of a large kitchen that has what you need to cook the catch of the day. There is a covered deck out front to relax and enjoy the Gulf breezes. The two bedrooms share a full bath with a tub/shower combination. Each bedroom has a king bed and plenty of closet space.

Outside, you'll find a small patio for enjoying the gulf breezes and a fenced SHARED yard that is shared by the complex for your four-legged friends to use. We've just added a shared breezeway for the complex with covered seating and a game area. It's a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. PLEASE NOTE: There is 24 hour surveillance in this shared area.

Smart televisions and wireless internet are included with your stay. There is a washer/dryer in the unit, but you will need to bring your own detergent.

The Sandbar Bungalow is part of a five-unit property known as Pirates Cove, so additional units can be rented to accommodate larger groups. Please contact us for details or with assistance in booking multiple units.

Two parking spaces are located in front of the cottage. Golf carts do count as one vehicle. Any additional cars, or trailers will need to be parked off-site. If you need off-site parking, we have information of places in town that offer it.

This property is DOG friendly. We welcome well trained dogs (no puppies) that are not labeled as "aggressive breeds" with a limit of 2 dogs with a total weight under 100 lbs. We charge a $50 pet fee per dog for the entire stay and ask that you pick up after them when they do their duties outside and kennel or crate them if they are left home alone. If you are bringing a dog, please message us the breed, age and weight of your dog so we can pre-approve them.

Guest access

Your group will have the entire cottage and balcony. There is a fenced yard at the back of the property for pets, but do not leave your dog unattended. There are barbeque grills and shared seating areas on the property that are available to all guests.
